It depends on why the entry is being flagged, but if something is double entered, it would affect your refund.

 

It would be best to return to your Schedule C and run through the details to make sure nothing is counted twice and everything is reported in full. 

  • If you are entering data already entered related to expenses, then your Schedule C income would decrease and your refund could increase.
  • If it is related to income, then the Schedule C income could increase which could increase your Qualified Business Income (QBI) deduction. This, too, could increase your refund.

The shortcut to return to Schedule C: Inside TurboTax, enter schedule c in the search box and select the Jump to link in the search results.
