Thank you!! First time user of the Business/Personal Turbo Tax. Would all of the info for the rental be entered in the Business Section of the software, then? When I'm working on the Personal Section it is still asking if I have any rental info to enter for the same property, since this is where it was entered in the previous years, pre-SMLLC. So, is it accurate that I don't enter the info here any longer?
And now that the rental is a SMLLC, is the owner considered an active participant, as he is 100% the owner and makes the decisions of maintenance. The tenant is still the same from last year, so no decision-making in tenant approval was necessary, but is usually handled by his Property Mgr.
