I have the same issue with a negative income and it won't accept 0. I called online and they thought they fixed it by blanking out everything but it doesn't work and I have an added complication that it mixes foreign tax credits from forms 1116 into the SE form later.
Now for two hours I get no one to answer the phone. Very frustrating.
