Actually my wife reminded me that this was based on advise from the accountant she spoke to. Makes sense but the tax code is not always logical. Having said that , I believe option one will calculate the proper taxes, I still say check the worksheets for accuracy. I like TurboTax but always try to verify that the calculations are correct.
