I'm using TT Home & Business to do my 2020 taxes. I expected it to generate Schedule C-EZ, but it is generating the full long-form Schedule C. I satisfy all of the following:
- Had only one business as sole proprietor
- Had business expenses of $5000 or less
- Used the cash method of accounting
- Did not have an inventory at any time
- Did not have a net loss
- Had no employees
- Did not deduct home office expenses
- Did not have prior year unallowed passive activity losses
- TurboTax did not generate Form 4562 Depreciation and Amortization
Why is it not generating C-EZ, per the above requirements?
