If a return has already been filed for you, then an amended return will need to be filed to include additional income from a self-employed business, or even an S-Corp or partnership (if your business is one of those).

If you have a copy of the tax return that was filed by the accountant, then it is possible for you to create and file an amended return using TurboTax in order to include your other income.  However, it may not be a simple process.  You would first need to duplicate everything that was done by the accountant before starting your amended return.

If the accountant has not actually completed and filed your return yet, then you would not need to go through the amending process.  Instead, either get your information back from the accountant and file everything together using TurboTax or give them the additional details for your business so that everything can be filed together by the accountant.
