Since the topic of this thread is where to enter a Schedule C (Self-employed business), here's an alternate method to get there:
- Open your return.
- Once the return is fully open, go to the left menu column and click on TAX TOOLS, then TOOLS.
- In the Tools menu choose the big blue button Topic Search.
- In the search line where it says "I'm looking for...." enter Schedule C without quotes.
- You should then see Schedule C highlighted in the list. Choose it and click GO.
- The next screen will likely ask: "Did you have any self-employment income or expenses?"
