Greetings!
The business was discontinued as of 12/31/2020 due to lack of sales. I have over $44,000 in inventory, that has been completely paid for, and due not not where to write that amount off at on my Schedule C. This is merchandise that I will no longer be able to sell because we had to shut down the business.
Can I write it off under other expenses?
