My son ran an eBay business while he was 17 years old. He ran the business under my name (which I was unaware of at the time) I was not involved in the business at all. PayPal recently sent out the 1099k form and it was under my name as the PayPal account was under my name that he used. My son is now 18 years old is their anyway that the 1099k PayPal sent be filed under his name instead of mine since he was the one who actually ran the business?
