  1. Change the lessee to the LLC

That makes no sense. Your single member LLC is considered a disregarded entity. Property owned by the single member LLC is no different that property personally owned by you. Besides, I seriously doubt the lessor will allow you to lease to a single member LLC.

  1. Have the LLC write me a check every month for the amount of the lease payment

That makes no sense either. Since an LLC is a disregarded entity, that's like taking money out of your left pocket you paid taxes on already, then putting it in your right pocket and paying taxes on it "again".

Just work it through the SCH C section of the program. In the business expenses section there's one for Business Vehicle Expenses. Just work it through, answer the questions, make the proper selections, and the TTX program can deal with this just fine, based on the data "YOU" enter.
