I wholeheartedly agree with the statements, by @Rick19744, quoted above; LLCs (either multi-member or single-member) offer as much protection against personal asset seizure as do other entities, such as S corporations.

 

Again, as @Rick19744 mentioned, seek legal advice prior to making any decisions and/or forming any entities. Otherwise, it is always a good idea to maintain accurate books and records, avoid commingling personal assets and funds with business assets and funds, and secure adequate business liability insurance.
