If indeed you are using the Mac software, then go find that Topic Search or Topic List. When you get to notary public, se tax highlight the phrase and click GO.

This will bring you to a screen that looks something like this:

Click on Make Adjustments, and continue until you come to a screen where you can remove the SE tax for notary public fees. Note that you have to have entered the notary fees first in Schedule C, in order for them to show here.
