I am trying to do my father's estate taxes. He passed in August 2019. the only thing in the estate account is a few CD's that we transferred over and an annuity. We had taxes withheld from the annuity. I got a 1099 -R for the annuity. I did not see a place to enter the 1099-r except for other income. We also entered the taxes withheld into the withholding section. Not sure that this is the right spots but that is the only place I saw. Didn't get a tax form for the CD's since they didn't make enough interest. My questions are: Did I enter things right? Do you normally get a return from an estate account? TurboTax said I did have any errors but I entered very. Help needed.
