Unfortunately, at this time, you cannot E-File any amended return. The IRS limits the system to only one Social Security number or Tax ID number to be E-Filed. This is to guard against fraudulent tax returns. Any tax return with a matching Social Security number will be rejected. Even if it's for a spouse or dependent.
