Thank you for your response. Yes, a very small amount of start-up costs related to forming the LLC. While there is no requirement to file a Federal return, the State of Virginia requires a return, regardless of activity. We are establishing the habit of filing both, to prevent future late filing penalties.
Based on my reading, I believed that there was an opportunity to "claim" start-up expenses of up to $5,000. Is this incorrect?
