I received a letter in the mail that said, "We received and applied total payments of $800.00 ( my LLC fee) to the Entity ID number for the tax year(s) above. However we cannot locate a tax return for the indicated tax year(s)." Could this be due to the 568's aren't submitted thru e-file? Along with the note I received a Claim for Refund letter. Do they assume because they didn't receive the Form 568, i don't have a business? Help would be appreciated.
