You will need to start the "amend a return" option if you already went through the file routine and paid for your TurboTax program and set up the refund method or method by which you were going to pay for your tax due.
When you log into your TurboTax program you will see an option to amend your return. Choose that option and you will be allowed back into your program where you can add or change things. When you are done, instead of mailing in the amended return (form 1040-X), just print out the original return that you made changes to and mail that one in.
