I'm sole proprietor and I'm trying to figure out how much my insurance should cover for interruption of my business after injury. They're trying to low ball, need help.
I work from home and use personal vehicle for work. Advantage of this is that I get to write off a bunch of my expenses that I wouldn't if I was an employee which lowers my net income. My question is should insurance cover my gross business income bcoz of business interruption due to my injury. As a sole proprietor my personal expenses are deducted together with raw materials to give the net income.
