I am an IC for 16-17 school year. I turned expenses in 16 and was reimbursed in 16 which showed on a 1099-MISC box 7. Won't be paid till 17. How do I offset this income?
Was I suppose to get this reimbursement reported on a 1099-MISC? This is the first year of being a school mentor and wasn't expecting expenses reimbursed counted as income.
