It is not unusual for unwanted forms to remain in your tax file after a business has been closed. The best solution is to carefully delete the unwanted forms.

  1. Switch to Forms mode. The Forms icon is in the upper left in the blue bar.
  2. In the left pane, select the form you want to remove.
  3. After the form is generated in the right pane, click the Delete Form button at the bottom of the window.
  4. Follow any on-screen instructions to remove the form or forms.
  5. Repeat, as needed, until all the unwanted forms are gone.
  6. Return from Forms Mode to the Easy Step interview.

Experience has taught us that, if a form has related worksheets that feed into it, it is best to remove those worksheets first, as their continued presence may cause the main form to regenerate.

Once the old business-related forms are gone, I believe the Virginia Schedule INC will correct itself.
