You can follow the steps below to enter those miles accurately:
- I would add the total miles and total trips up separately.
- I would then divide the total miles/total trips and enter that number for the miles and then the total number of trips. When TurboTax determines the total number of miles, it would multiple the number of trips X the number of miles.
Example: If you have 200 total miles and 4 trips but one trip is 100 miles and the other 3 are 33.3 miles each, then you would enter 50 miles and 4 trips. TurboTax would still calculate 200 miles.
