You should receive a copy of 1099-SA if you had any HSA distributions. Otherwise, your W-2, box 12, code W reflects HSA contributions, no 1099-SA is needed for that. Form 1099-SA is reported as follows, when/if you receive it:

  1. Federal Taxes
  2. Wages & Income
  3. Scroll down to Less Common income and select 1099-SA, HSA, MSA.

Again,  contributions made through your employer are already reflected on your Form W2, box 12, code W. Once the form W2 is entered into Turbo Tax exactly as it appears, they will be reflected on a respective form. However, if you have made additional HSA contributions that are not reported on the W-2, please use the steps below to report them:

  1. Federal Taxes
  2. Deductions & Credits
  3. Scroll down to Medical and select HSA, MSA Contributions
