2 DBAs under 1 LLC. Do 1st DBA have protection from creditors of 2nd DBA even if separate actg, bank a/c etc.? ie. can creditor of 1st dba sue 2nd dba bcs under same LLC
I just filed to form Tom LLC. My new online business will be tom.com. I am setting up 2nd different online business named joe.com. I want to make them 2 different DBAs. Can I get 2 different EINs for DBAs or only 1 for LLC? If only 1 EIN, do I get protection from creditors for DBAs individually. ie If I operate DBAs independently with separate accounting, bank account etc, will creditor pursuing one DBA can also pursue other DBA just because both are under 1 LLC? If I cannot protect one DBA from the creditors of other, I want to form 2 LLCs.
