You might want to keep your employee business expense entries. While they are not deductible on the federal return, some states are keeping it and the info will flow to your state return.
To cancel your employee business expenses please follow these steps:
- On the Deductions & Credits screen, scroll down to the Employment expenses section.
- Click the Start/Revisit box next to Job Expenses for W-2 Income.
- If you have already entered expenses, you will see the screen, Review your job-related expenses info.
- Click the Delete icon (the trashcan) next to each of your entries to delete them.
