If you do not need a Form 8283 in your tax return, you can go to the federal interview, select the deductions tab, go down to the Charitable contributions line and click Edit. You will see the Charitable Contributions Summary. You are given the option to delete any line on the summary. Select delete and the whole form 8283 should be gone. The error should clear.
