To update the Mac version of TurboTax:
- Hover your cursor over "TurboTax 2025" on the very top bar menu next to the Apple logo.
- Select Check for Updates from the drop-down menu.
- You will then see either a message "TurboTax is up to date" or instructions to run the update.
In Home & Business for Mac, the Farm Income and Expenses section is in the Business tab below the Rental section. If you need to add more items, click Update next to Farm Income and Expenses on the Business summary page. Click Edit in the farm section to add more information. The list of Farming Income and Expenses should appear.
