I'm having to go back and do 2023 taxes, but cannot use forbidden tax online anymore even though TT and I almost completed the 1040 on time. It's just been complicated, both in tax world and in real- life, so I'm looking at how Turbo Tax approached taxes owed over $1k in the past and it varied. I never realized TT calculated requests on penalty waivers, and there appears to be more than 1 way which should be calculated before deciding which is the best to request.
Will the desktop version do this for me as well, or will i need to go through each of the plausible options and hand crank them, research them, etc., myself? (I was not aware TT had done this. Now I'm so grateful they did. )
