It's possible your PDF didn't include the California forms, or that Form CA-568 was missed. You can check this by going back into your return and reprinting the forms you need.

If you used TurboTax Online, follow these instructions:

Note that you are NOT actually changing your return - you are simply opening your return again so you have access to your entries.

  1.  Log into TurboTax using the same username and password as you did before.
  2.  Click on Tax Home from the menu on the left.
  3.  Under Your tax returns & documents, select the current tax year, then click on Add a State.
  4.  You now have access to your entire return. You may navigate using the tabs or Search box as you did while entering your information. Do NOT change anything, in case you do actually need to amend your return. However, you might work through the California state interview to be sure you need to file Form 568.
  5. To print any form, go to Tax Tools in the left column, then Print Center.
  6. Choose your current return and select the forms you need to reprint.

If you used TurboTax Desktop, you can print both forms using Forms Mode:

  1. Open your return and click the Forms icon in the TurboTax header.
  2. In the list of Forms in My Return on the left, scroll down and look for Form 568 under California.
  3. Click the form name to open it in the large window.
  4. Click the Print button below the open form to print or save as a PDF.
  5. Repeat for Form 3522.
  6. When you're finished, click Step-by-Step in the header to return to the main screens.
