I have a rental property where I take a loss, and some oil and gas royalties with income. The rental property loss is not deductible. Last year the total amount for Rental Properties and Royalties (Sch E) on the Step by Step page showed the positive number from the income which is what gets reported. This year it is showing the net even though there is no deduction as the losses are zeroed out. It appears to be correct on schedule 1. Not sure if there is a different place to report a bug?
