If you leave the question regarding the work you do blank, TurboTax will add a generic code: 999000.
- Go to Wages and Income.
- Select review next Self-employment income and expenses
- Edit your line of work
- Scroll down to Business summary and select Edit next to Your business info
- Edit work Description Under General Info
