1.  Yes, if it is apersonal vehicle that is also used for business then you will use the mileage to figure out the business percentage and you can either depreciate the vehicle at that percentage or take the mileage deduction.

 

2. Yes.

 

3. No, it will need the odometer reading at the beginning and the end of the year to track total mileage.  You would also need to track the business mileage in order to get the percentage that is business use.  Company B, C, and D in this instance do not track mileage they just deduct the rental expense.
