The business code is not given on form 1099-MISC.
The business code depends on your work activity and the principal business codes are listed on pages 17-18 of this document: http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/i1040sc.pdf
Note that if your business can’t be classified, enter 999999 as the principal business code.
