You can prepare and file a W-2 form in TurboTax by accessing a link you will find there to Quick Employer Forms.
If you are using the desktop TurboTax product, you will see an option on your home screen when you log into the program that says Create Employer Forms along with a link to Create 1099/W2 that you can click on to access the Quick Employer Forms. You will see a similar option when you log into the TurboTax Business desktop product.
You will also see a link on the File menu option on the top left of your screen in the desktop version of TurboTax.
Once you file the W-2 form, you must prepare Form 944 to pay in your payroll taxes and also Form 940 to pay in your federal unemployment taxes. You will need to check with your state department of labor to see about filing and paying state unemployment taxes.
