To confirm that you must mail California Form 568 for a SMLLC, follow these steps:

1. Open your return and click the Forms icon in the TurboTax header.
2. Scroll down to the California forms and click on Form 568 under Sch C Wks to open the form in the large window.
3. Scroll down to Line U(1) and verify if the Yes box is checked. If not, you cannot e-file the form.
4. Scroll down to the bottom of the form. 
5. If the box is checked, you must print and mail Form 568.
6. Click the Errors icon in about the forms list to open a message box at the bottom of the open form that may explain this situation more fully.
