Two options:

  • You received the k-1- nothing should be changed, contact the issuer.
  • You created the k-1. The k-1 is generated by a  business or estate return - you don't edit the k-1.  
    • check your entries related to what is showing on the k-1. If it relates to investment income, check investment entries. 
    • if you are using desktop, you can use forms mode to data source back to the original data entry by right clicking on the k-1 error.
