Hi, my friend recommended I use acorns to make some extra money. They give bonuses for getting people to sign up and put the money in your investment account. I was hoping to withdraw the money to use to pay bills, but I’m uncertain about how that will effect taxes. It is not money that I have been taxed on and I’m aware it is an investment account. I was wondering if it would be possible to withdraw it now since I need the money and pay the taxes on the withdrawal so no interest accumulates? Is this something you would advise against?
