LLC WITH DBA

Hello, 

I recently started my own LLC for small landscaping, handyman and custom hats. I started these services in July 2024. I’ve made a small income which I will report on taxes. I have also created a dba under this LLC that will not go live until early 2025. I have had at least $5k in startup expenses in 2024 for this new (dba-product/brand). Since the dba business won’t go live until 2025 and start accepting customers and generating income, how will I expense/report these startups, in 2024 or 2025? The dba was created in July 2024, but that was to start getting everything in line and ready to go for 2025 release.
