I sell small antiques on the internet. Correct me if I am wrong, but I should only be listing the inventory I sold on my taxes, and not inventory from previous years?

I think I paid too much in taxes last year, I'm such a small internet shop. I was told to list ALL inventory for the year, even past years which did not sell.
