I'm trying to understand what the benefits of Turbotax Advantage are for the added cost.

I've self-prepared my taxes for 50 years, and used Turbotax for the last ~20. I rarely need help, and have never called Turbotax for assistance. Been audited once (years ago), only because I crossed the IRS threshold on charitable contributions, and came through squeaky clean.

I use Turbotax Premier because I have considerable investment assets and transactions (managed in detail with Quicken).

Today's email suggested I should buy Turbotax Advantage (Premier) for $105, when I know I'll be able to get it online at Sam's or Amazon for considerably less in a few weeks.

Why would I want to pay more?
