This can be fixed in the W-2 wages section of the program.
- Select Federal on the left panel
- Select "Wages & Income"
- Select Edit next to "Job (W-2)"
- Select Edit next to the applicable W-2 form where you had the excess SDI claimed.
- Scroll down to Box 14. This is where you will enter the amount of the taxes withheld, as well as the "Category". Make sure you select the category to ensure the correct tax is being reported and claimed. MAKE SURE EVERYTHING MATCHES EXACTLY AS IT IS ON YOUR W2. If no category is listed, please select other (not classified). Continue through the process and this should resolve the issue.
