No, your answer is forself-employed. I am not self employee , but I am hired by one self employee. Turbo Tax is not well thought out, very unprofessional, and the software is very stupid. In fact, I am not self-employed, but a temporary worker hired by a friend for an hourly wage. Now the problem is coming. I got the 1099-NEC, and there is no place to fill it out in TurboTax. It is full of self-operated Schedule C deductions and heavy taxes. I emphasize again that TurboTax does not have a 1099-NEC worker option. It is really idiotic software. Why should I fill out Schedule C? After I deleted it, the software got stuck there. They recalculated and kept asking me to make up schedule C. I discussed it with my friends and it was confirmed that I was right. The salary that a temporary worker simply receives is stuck in the turbo tax. for example : someone worked in bueger store to get 1099-NEC, do you have step by step SOP that we can follow up for a worker in turbo tax? (how to remove schedule C and how to run pass in turbo tax after software knows this is a worker)
