To delete the information you entered under "Contracts and Straddles" while logged in to your return

 

  • Go to Federal
  • Click on Wages & Income
  • Scroll down to "Contracts and Straddles" and click on Edit/Add
  • Click "Continue" until you come to the screen with "Straddle Gains" or whatever type of gains/losses you entered
  • Click "Delete" next to each item listed
  • Continue until you have deleted all trades positions you entered

After you have deleted all position in Contracts and Straddles, return to Wages and Income and click Edit/Add next to Contracts and Straddles and answer No to "Any Straddles or Section 1256 Contracts?".
