2nd home office in same location for same business

I'm self employed and for several years have filed including my home office which is 100% used for work (I see clients in my home office) and accounts for about 80-90% (depending on the year) of my self-employed income.

starting this year, I made another space in my home available for clients and their families while they're waiting to be seen in my home office. this space happens to also be my living room so it's not 100% used for work. it's used by clients and their families during the week for about 1/2 of our waking hours (if that) matters or about 6 hours.

I need help figuring out how to account for this "waiting area" in turbotax. do I, for example, take 1/2 of the square footage (since I'm using it about 1/2 of waking hours) and simply add that SF to my "existing" home office square footage? Or, do I add a 2nd home office and manage it entirely separately in turbotax? if so, how would I determine the % of my income derived from the waiting area since the work I'm paid for occurs in the other space (the "existing" home office).

I also spent ~$4k this year creating an opening between the 2 spaces so people in the waiting area can see and better hear what's happening in the studio (I teach music). how do I account for this?

please be as detailed as possible in the turbotax instructions as I still consider myself a rookie there.

thank you.
