Yes, if the total of those costs, along with your other itemized deductions, is more than your standard deduction. Medical expenses are an itemized deduction. You can deduct the amount of the total expenses for you, your spouse, and your dependents that exceed 7.5% of your adjusted gross income. You can elect to take either the standard deduction OR the total of your itemized deductions, but not both.
