To edit your home mortgage property tax entry reported to you on Form 1098 in TurboTax Online:
Select Federal>Deductions & Credits>Mortgage Interest, Refinancing, and Insurance (Form 1098)"
- Click "Edit" next to your Mortgage Lender's name and press "Continue" until you see the "Let's get the details from your (Lenders' name) 1098 now" screen.
- You can update your Form 1098 as desired then press "Continue"
OR
To edit your home real estate property taxes NOT on Form 1098 Online:
1. Sign In to TurboTax Online.
2. Select "Take me to my return"
3. Select the "Search" or "Help" icon.
4. Type "property tax" and select "Jump to property tax" to add your home real estate property taxes paid.
