The free version doesn't support the Sch A where you can deduct the mortgage interest & property taxes ... to do that you need to upgrade to Deluxe. Click on the federal tab... then deductions & credits ... then home deductions.
And unless the total of your itemized deductions exceeds the standard deduction you will not see any benefits to itemizing or upgrading to deluxe...
