To report the sale of your home in TurboTax Premier:
- Open (continue) your return in TurboTax.
- In the upper right corner, search for home sale.
- Click the "jump to" link in the search results.
- Answer Yes when asked Did you sell or have your home foreclosed in 2017?
- Follow the onscreen instructions. During the interview, you'll be asked if you received a Form 1099-S. (Click the screenshot below to enlarge it for reference.)
