BUT, if we file as 'Married Jointly', then our parents are not allowed to claim us as a dependent. Does this fix the issue, if we file jointly? Because now I am worried because my work does an HSA plan for health insurance, and you are apparently not allowed to be able to be claimed as a dependent on someone else's tax returns.
