Deductions & credits
No, you cannot. What you paid to your contractor/architect are payments for services rendered, not charitable deductions. If that's the case, it is your business expense for labor. If you just gave them the money, it's a gift and you don't report it anywhere on your tax return.
Charitable contributions are made to charitable organizations, not individuals.
Note: If you made a payment as part of your business, you are required to issue Form 1099-Misc if the payment is for $600 or more.
