Deductions & credits

I would be more than happy to help you with this. Follow the steps below to find the location of where that information is put in. I'll also provides some information on claiming travel expenses, just to help you fully understand.

  • Open up your tax return
  • Select Federal Taxes at the top of your screen
  • Select Deductions & Credits at the top of the next page
  • Scroll down the page until you get to the Employment Expenses section
  • Click Start/Revisit to the right of Job Expenses For W-2 Income
  • Go through this section’s interview questions and you will be able to enter the expenses that were incurred on your trips.
